ACUTE CARE, INC. Supports Series – the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)

As an ACCME-accredited provider of Continuing Medical Education for physicians, ACUTE CARE, INC. supports the mission and practice of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.

The ACCME (www.accme.org) notes that…

The purpose of accreditation is to provide a framework that motivates educators to achieve their full potential. Accredited organizations are responsible for demonstrating that they meet requirements for delivering independent CME that accelerates learning, change, and improvement in healthcare

They also report that

We collaborate with our colleagues at US state and territory medical societies to facilitate the accreditation of local CME providers and support community-based CME for clinicians.

…which offers the opportunity to acknowledge the guidance and support offered by the Iowa Medical Society, the ACCME surrogate in Iowa,  and the organization with whom we partner to ensure that we always provide targeted, valuable education offerings that reflect the ACCME standards.

Education has always been a key component to ACUTE CARE, INC.‘s service to our provider colleagues and the patients they serve. ACCME accreditation is a distinguishing characteristic for our organization and a validation of this commitment.

ACUTE CARE, INC. supports the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
