We have been a member for 15 years, and served on the Board of Directors for over 12 years. Our team participates in and contributes to task forces, committees, and work groups, and takes part in EDPMA-coordinated advocacy efforts in support of Emergency Medicine.
From the About EDPMA section of the organization’s website

The Emergency Department Practice Management Association (EDPMA) is one of the nation’s largest professional physician trade associations focused on the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective care in the emergency department. EDPMA’s membership includes emergency medicine physician groups, as well as billing, coding, and other professional support organizations that assist healthcare providers in our nation’s emergency departments. Together, EDPMA’s members deliver (or directly support) health care for about half of the 146 million patients that visit U.S. emergency departments each year.

From advocacy to education, EDPMA provides unmatched access to decision makers, monitors federal and state activity, educates on best practices, and keeps you up-to-date on the key issues and services affecting your business and your bottom line.

ACUTE CARE, INC.‘s contribution to EDPMA’s efforts is focused on the education mission of the organization, with significant leadership and coordinate roles in the Education Committee, Conference Planning Committee, a new fellowship program, and biannual  workshops.
EDPMA’s focus on “the business of Emergency Medicine” delivers value for its members, and ACUTE CARE, INC. has derived benefit from collaboration and networking opportunities provided in formal participation in forums and informal consultation with other members.
ACUTE CARE, INC. supports EDPMA, and recommends membership to Emergency Medicine physician practices and the organizations that serve them.
